In recent years, Steve Barbe has;
- Co-produced a collection CD ("Roy Wells' Collage of Music") of his own music under the tag "Tingle Factory" http://roywellscollageofmusic.org/tf.html
- Had some of this played on local radio stations.
- Had his music used in Cooltan Arts film “Largactyl Shuffle: Innovation in Mad Culture” with guest Ruby Wax, Screened at the studio space at South London Gallery 2011.
- Has co-produced his own “environmental pop-videos. "Toad in a Hole" (find at Steve Barbe on youtube) has been played at venues such as Shortwave Cinema and Cafe Crema, and also at Brockley Max film night (i.e. "Brockleywood") and an evening of Environmental pop videos at House which he curated plus a similar evening at cinema6 in Peckham. Performing his own material live, both solo and with other artists, at such venues as the 100 Club in London, and the One World Clubs both in London and in Milton Keynes. Unicorn Theatre, Camden Peoples Theatre and Tottenham (T) Chances.
